Rough rhythm
Day 1 – 4×4 kicks dust, camp gates part, rose water on wrists, welcome tagine lid lifts, steam smells of cumin. Sunset camel loop, short, legs wobble. Dinner round the fire, lanterns swing, first stars punch holes.
Day 2 – Dawn call soft, coffee thick as mud. Camel caravan longer, 2 hours, guide sings in Tamazight. Breakfast back, msemen flatbread, amlou dip. Afternoon Berber bread class, knead dough, bury in sand coals, eat hot. Hammam one, scrub black soap, steam rose, rinse bucket shock. Star meditation, rugs laid, guide names constellations in Arabic.
Day 3 – Morning free, lounge on kilim pillows, mint tea refills itself. Lunch couscous seven veg, spoon fights. Camel trek to hidden valley, picnic dates, almonds. Back for siesta, tent flaps tied, breeze. Cooking class two, harira soup, you burn onions, laugh. Evening drum circle, hands slap djembes, kids from nearby village join.
Day 4 – Sunrise yoga on the dune crest, sand warm, sky peach. Breakfast yogurt, orange blossom honey. Hammam deep, ghassoul clay mask, hair shiny after. Afternoon free, read, nap, or quad bike add-on. Sunset trek on foot, climb the big dune, roll down if brave. Dinner lamb tanjia, pot unsealed tableside, meat falls off bone.
Day 5 – Long camel loop, 3 hours, stop at nomad tent, butter tea salty. Lunch back, zaalouk, bread still puffing. Bread class redux, shape khobz, mark with knife. Hammam closing, oil massage, argan warm. Farewell fire, story teller, mint tea sweet, drums fade.
Day 6 – Sleep till the sun climbs tent wall. Brunch shakshuka, merguez if you eat meat, veg swap easy. 4×4 at 11, maybe a rug rolled under arm, desert dust in every crease.

Food pulse

Why it sticks
You ride camels like a kid, scrub dead skin till you glow, learn bread that tastes of sand and smoke. Stars so many you stop counting. Leave sunburned nose, full belly, quieter inside.
Grab it before Ramadan or fashion week camps the desert.
